Today is a great day! And if you aren’t having the greatest day then, as I saw on pinterest once, “Not everyday is great, but every day has something great.”

This smoothie I made this morning is pretty great!

ORGANIC PINEAPPLE AND STRAWBERRY SMOOTHIE, YUM

it’s super simple, all you need is:

-Organic unsweetened Almond Milk
- Organic strawberries
- pineapple pieces
- 1 tablespoon of organic coconut oil
- dash of cinnamon
- little less than half a banana
- organic green mix
- ice cubes

blend it all together, and Yum! Yum! Yum! And super filling.

GELATIN! … PLEASE READ!!!

Hi Everyone,

These last few days I have been reading and studying on health topics like you wouldn’t believe. I have came across some amazing books, ones used in school, and I am so thankful I did.

How many of you take vitamins? I do!

I am sure you have gone to the store and notices some of the exact supplements are much more expensive than others. Granted, this could be for many reason but I have one reason that you should all know about… Gelatin.

A lot of pills are made of mostly a substance called Gelatin. Gelatin is made from pigs and cows skin and bones as well as horses hooves. This is important to know because gelatin is not good for you, yet so many of us are ingesting this everyday.

Many of you probably knew about this, but a lot of us didn’t. Now that you all know please spread the word. I went home and put in the garbage a bunch of vitamins. Keep in mind, vitamins like Vitamin E you can open and use topical.

Please be aware of this when you are purchasing pills.

Gluten Free, Vegan Pineapple Cupcakes! =]

Hey everyone,

So, with a little research, I came up with an incredibly delicious Vegan AND Gluten Free cupcake.

You all need to try this. They came out amazing.

If you do try, give me your thoughts.

If you change the amount or use different ingredients it is a must that you fill me in on your results!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups of Gluten Free Flour ( I used Namaste all purpose Flour)

2 teaspoons of  Organic Baking powder

1/2 cup of Organic Almond Milk

1 teaspoon of Organic Cinnamon

1 cup of pineapple Puree ( cut pieces, throw in a pot, heat for about 10 minutes, then use a mixer )

2/3 cups of Organic Sugar (not powdered sugar)

1 tsp of vanilla extract

Directions:

Heat oven to 250 degrees

Mix all ingredients

Pour Mix in cupcake liners

Put cupcake liners in cupcake tin and bake for about 20 minutes, but keep checking on them, they may be done sooner or may need a bit more time.

Seems like many people are making the Switch to a Gluten Free lifestyle. Some are Gluten intolerant and some want to lose weight.

Gluten is a protien that is foud in Rye, wheat, and barley.

Some people are Gluten intolerant and don’t even know it. When you eat food, especially when it’s organic, do you feel nauseated? Get headaches? Cramps? Bloating? If you answered yes to any or all you may be Gluten intolerant. Whenever I eat Gluten My tummy blows up ( I start to look like i’m pregnant), I get awful cramping in my tummy and I feel nauseated. It’s just an overall awful feeling. If you experience any of these try switching to a Gluten Free diet for a a few weeks and see how you feel.

A Gluten Free diet has also helped people with Weight loss. The reason is because, Gluten is found in wheat, wheat converts to sugar quicker than any other grain, and sugar makes you gain weight.

                                          -Gluten Free is the way to be-

 

                                       -Lose the Wheat, Lose the Weight-

 

There isn’t anything wrong with switching over to a Gluten Free Diet.

More and more grocery stores are carrying Gluten Free products.

Blogging, oh how I love thee.

Hey everyone!

So I have been MIA (missing in action) lately. I finally felt well enough to throw myself back into reading and studying and have compiled a long list of things I want to share with you all.

I know a lot of you follow me on social media sites and I received all of your precious messages and I thank you for keeping my family and I in your prayers.

I am alive, healthy and expressing my gratitude for life every single day to everyone and anyone who is willing to listen. Or in this case, read.

Throughout these few weeks, I have really thought about how blessed I am to be alive and every day is a huge blessing. It has become crucial for me to continue striving to maintain a healthy lifestyle. I hope you all will continue to follow me on this journey, send me your input and ideas!
