Ran to the grocery store for some snacks, I was craving anything and everything. I didn’t know what to choose, so i chose just about anything that looked delicious!
What do you guys think of my choices ??

I hope everyone had a fantastic Thanksgiving day! I was so grateful to have been able to spend it with my mom. She made an entire ORGANIC feast. It was amazing. Although we stuck to an all organic thanksgiving dinner, I ate triple the amount of calories I should have and decided today would be a calorie counter day.
Stopped and grabbed lunch with one of my close friends. Shrimp california roll with brown rice! Yummy!! Plus I had an organic juice made. My juice was made of organic kale, cucumber,celery,carrots, apples, oranges, parsley, and spinach. It was delicious. How was everyones thanksgiving day?
So grateful for each and everyone one of you guys’ support.
What is it? Refined Cooking oils are highly processed. They take out all of the natural vitamins,enzymes, and minerals. It goes through a rigorous process and the outcome really isn’t what we should be putting in our bodies. Anything processed isn’t good.
Where is it? Many foods contain Refined Vegetable oil they are also known as SOYBEAN OIL, PEANUT OIL, CANOLA OIL, CORN OIL, SUNFLOWER OIL, PALM OIL, And Many more.
What can it do to my Body? These Oils Turn into Trans fats. Which can contribute to Poor cholesterol levels, heart conditions, and even cancer.
These products are in foods, just look on the ingredient list, and they even sell as stand along products for cooking.

Was craving something delicious this morning, but had to be something healthy. So, I decided on a smoothie! Yum, ORGANIC APPLES, ORGANIC STRAWBERRIES, ORGANIC SAMBAZON ACAI JUICE, AND ORGANIC VANILLA YOGURT. YUUUUMY!

I hear about the Acai berry a lot, so I started reading more and more about it. What I have come to learn about the Acai berry is truly wonderful. It’s a small purple berry that comes from Brazil. It’s known around the world as the “Super Fruit” or “Super Food.” The reason for this is because the Acai is made up of so many antioxidants. Its been said that it may be one of the healthiest foods in the world.
The Acai does a number of things for your body:
1. Helps control appetite naturally
2. Helps with the aging process
3. Helps you lose weight
4. Helps with your digestive system
5. May help prevent many different diseases, cancer and Diabetes
6. Helps with the immune system
7. Helps with Energy
8. Overall the Acai is strengthening, Enriching, Amazing, and every positive word in the dictionary. It does wonders for your body.
Now, most of us aren’t going to just wake up and find the berry growing in our backyard. So where can we get the benefits of the acai berry? Well, there are plenty of brands on the market that sell it in a juice, pill, or powder form. I would do your research before purchasing to avoid any scams. The best way in my opinion would be to do a juice or a powder form ( it’s very enjoyable, taste wise).
If I could recommend any Brand it would be hands down SAMBAZON ACAI . They have so many wonderful products on the market, that taste sooo delicious and are affordable as well. I havent tried every product yet, but what I have, I have to say I am very pleased. They have juices, energy drinks, sorbet, smoothie packs, and even supplements. The absolute best thing that I love about this company is that their products are certified ORGANIC. By now you should all know I love my food, drinks, supplements everything ORGANIC, it’s just the way to go.
This company, is a very affordable brand. Like them on Facebook where you can find coupons from time to time.

Just wanted to give everyone a friendly reminder that these “Healthy” stores are wonderful places to get your food from, but don’t think/assume everything is “Healthy” just because the store you are in is associated with health.
I was in one of these stores tonight and started reading the Ingredients in a lot of the foods and I was in shock how many of these foods contain chemicals, preservatives, and man-made ingredients. Not only are they not healthy,but some of them aren’t safe.
This is why I made this Blog to help myself and all of you. If you research your stuff and gain knowledge you too can walk in these stores and know what is great for you and what just isn’t.

If anyone LOVES sweets its ME!!! ME, ME, ME! I think I have sweet teeth rather than just one sweet tooth.
I have been reading the ingredients in a lot of sweetened food including drinks and to my amazment many of them contain the lovely sweetner ASPARTAME… hmm, Aspartame? How do you even actually say that?
Well, Aspatame may sound pretty but what it does to you is NOT.
Aspartame is an excitotoxin. Excitotoxin is basically a process that ends up killing your nerve cells… hmmm, can we stop for a quick minute and think about how I just wrote KILL in the same sentence as the word Excitotoxin which is what Aspatame is? Ok, I can Officially stop right here and KNOW that you all will immediatly cut Aspartame out of your diet, right?
Since you probably insist I should go on, I shall…
Aspartame is found in many processed foods, its about 200 x sweeter than sugar ( cheaper also) , and it makes you Sad, Mad, FAT, and makes you feel icky!
You can find asapartame in so many things just look at the back of the food or soda or juice and read the ingredients.
Aspartame has been found to cause Mood Swings, Nausea, Diarreha, Sleep Disorders, change in vision, headaches and other eeky stuff.
Aspartame=not good. Just take it out of your diet, do I have to beg? I dont want any of you in pain =(
I hope everyone is doing wonderful. I on the other hand am a bit scared of all I have been reading on Flouride. Flouride seems like a perfectly healthy ingredient, Doesnt it? I mean its something very common in toothpaste. We have all have been using tooth paste since we can remember!
Sad news everyone, but healpful one at that, Flouride is NOT I repeat NOT good for you.
Do me a favor, go to your bathroom right now. Go on Go, grab that toothpaste you have, read if it contains Flouride and if it does Toss it. Go and get a toothpaste that doesnt contain Flouride. It isn’t always easy to find, but I have had great luck at Whole foods where they carry toothpaste, made especially for children, without Flouride.
Some Reasons why I have read Flouride isn’t good for you…
1. it is Highly Toxic
2. If you consume too much of it, it will actually Help Rot and discolor your teeth
3. Flouride is used in rat poisin… EXCITING… NOT!
4. Makes Bones brittle
5.Has been found in Cigs
6. Linked to helping cause cancer
7. Flouride leads to Florises
8. It Lowers your immune system
9. Gastric Problems
and last , but not least ( and there are more reasons why you shouldn’t) Ever wonder why on the back of toothpaste boxes that contain Flouride say “WARNING: Keep out of reach of children under 6 years of age. If you accidentally swallow more than used for brushing, seek professional help or contact a poison control center immediately.”
If I havent convinced you, do your own research. But really, what is the harm of changing Flouride toothpaste to Non- Flouride Toothpaste? Its such a simple step to a better , healthier life and I want YOU and your Children to remain healthy and live a long, Pain- Free Life.
Sorry its been a few days since I have posted anything. I just got done working for the Latin Grammys, such a fun experience but absolutely crazy at the same time. This is my 2nd year working with them. After a few, LONG and I mean LONG, days I am now rested and back to feeling my normal self and am able blog again. I will try to Blog daily if not, at the very least every other day.
Tonight I wanted to write about electrolyte enhanced water. We have all seen the water that says Water with “electrolytes.” So what is it ? and why do we need it? or do we even need it?
In very simple terms electrolytes help keep you hydrated. Primarily for those of us who work out a lot usually for hours at a time Ex: Athletes. The Electrolyte goes right to your organs much easier and quicker to make sure your body stays hydrated.It replaces electrolytes that you lose while working out a lot. It’s like an added Boost to your water.
Is it safe? YES
Is it good for you? YES
Should you drink water with electrolytes? If you’re not an athlete Regular water is fine, but if you so happen to purchase water that is electrolyte enhanced then that’s fine also.
Anything that helps keep your body healthier and where it should be is always a Plus.
So, DRINK UP!
